UK Based King Of Shave Launches AZOR M

Founded in the UK in 1993, The King of Shaves got its face wet in the shave industry with the launch of its shave oil. Originally sold at Harrods Ltd, the company quickly expanded its product line and distribution to include Boots. Today, King of Shave products can be found at Boots, Tesco, Sainsbury, Superdrug, Morrisons and Waitrose, and in the USA at CVS/pharmacy, Target, Walgreens and Duane Reade. King of Shaves products are also sold in Australia, New Zealand, Japan and Brazil.

King of Shaves has won many awards both in the UK and U.S. for best men’s wet-shave products.

After five years of research, design and testing King of Shaves launched the Azor razor in 2008 with its patented bendology technology (flexible, hinged handle) 4 blade shave system. To their credit, they have NEVER looked back launching the Original, the “S” sensitive and now Alloy “M” version of the AZOR in less than two years!

Benefits

Usage: Before you begin your first shave with the Azor M, I suggest you start by gently pressing the head of the razor down on the sink and flex the hinge. That’s EXACTLY how this is going to work on your face. As you glide around the contours of your face, neck and chin, the Azor’s patented hinge will flex and ensure the razor is at the correct angle and provides just the right feedback to give you a close comfortable shave. The white rubbery strip on the handle is designed to lift the hairs while you’re shaving and reduce the risk of nicks, and ingrown hairs.

Editor’s Note: 5 years of Patent work went into the make of this razor. That means someone lost a lot of sleep sweating EVERY detail of this razor including that little white rubber strip. By design, it’s attached to the handle, so you don’t throw it out when you replace the cartridge. Sound design.

Who cares, you might ask? Multiply that little white strip times a million or two cartridges tossed into someone’s landfill a day, and you’ve got yourself an environmental mess. Not with Azor!

The Shave:  Amazing! I was able to get a close comfortable shave straight out of the package. The Azor M handle has the proper weight, balance and proportion to give me the feel and feedback I’m looking for when shaving.

I don’t know the science behind the Azor’s four Endurium coated blades, but I do know they provide great shave and last FOREVER! I’ve achieved 15 shaves on a single Azor cartridge without need for a change. I would expect no less with the Azor M.

Cons

I have no real complaint about this product.

Conclusion

The Azor truly is a remarkable razor!  Punch for the Pound, Bang for the Buck, I would highly recommend this product to wet shave enthusiasts everywhere. The Azor feels good, provides great feedback and ultimately delivers what everyman wants; a great shave, at a great price!

Editor’s Note: The Azor M has all the right moves, looks and performance to become a real product category changer. Since founding King of Shaves Will King has never looked in the rear view mirror and continues to provide us with the shave products we crave before we even ask for them!

Since its launch in June 2008, the best selling King of Shaves Azor System Razor* has delivered tens of millions of close, comfortable, cost effective shaves to men and women worldwide.** Now shaving with the Azor has evolved following 18 months of consumer research and testing, King of Shaves is delighted to introduce the new Azor M Alloy System Razor. Promising a supreme shave experience with its new sleek hybrid metal alloy and Polyastomer handle and redesigned v2 slimmer cartridge, the Azor M effortlessly blends style with amazing performance.

Designed and manufactured in the UK and tipping the scales at 47g, compared to the 17g Azor, the Azor M is perfectly balanced and ideally weighted for maximum control and comfort whilst shaving. The Azor M utilises King of Shaves internationally patented Bendology Technology flexible hinges which allows the Azors head to bend and follow every contour of your face whilst pressing the blades progressively closer onto the skin for a superbly comfortable yet close shave. The unique wishbone shaped head design provides greater visibility when shaving.

The latest addition to the award winning Azor line-up also introduces the new v2 slim blade cartridge, that makes shaving under the nose and other hard to reach places even easier. The tactile handle features side creases for improved dexterity and grip, trim guides for shaping and styling facial hair, a larger skin pre-tensioner (reducing the risk of unwanted nicks and cuts whilst helping to prevent in-growing hairs) and an improved soft-touch cartridge ejection mechanism.

As ever, the four Endurium coated blades in each cartridge continue to shave closer, longer for less and replacement cartridges are suitable for all Azor System Razors.
